You Lead, We Build: What Future Clinicians Want From AI Education
Hey future clinicians 👩⚕️👨⚕️,
We’re two family medicine doctors, and not that long ago, we were exactly where you are—trying to prepare for a healthcare system that keeps changing faster than the syllabus.
AI is already showing up in real clinical workflows. The question isn’t if you’ll use it—it’s how you’ll learn to use it responsibly, confidently, and ethically. And here’s the part that bothers us: students are rarely asked what you actually want (or need) to learn.
That’s why we’re hosting Alma First’s AI in Medical Education Webinar — a free, interactive session built around your voice. We want to hear from pre-health, post-bacc, and medical students about:
What you want to learn about AI in medicine
What skills you feel medical education is missing
Your questions, concerns, and boundaries around responsible AI use
Before the webinar, please take our short survey so we can shape the session around what matters most to you: clinical autonomy, patient safety, and professional responsibility.

We’ll share key themes (in aggregate) during the webinar and use the results to co-create future curriculum and opportunities for students who want to lead in digital health—starting now, not “someday.”
We can’t wait to learn from you!
