Mumbai Citizen Risk Clinic
We're hosting a Risk Clinic to understand how Mumbaikars respond to systemic climate risks in their city.
This is a participatory process convened as part of Mumbai Climate Week 2026’s Spoke Events. Participants will trace how the 2025 heatwave and flooding events cascaded through the city’s infrastructure, identify where compounded risks constrained choice in their everyday lives, document existing informal adaptation capacities communities have already built, and explore what tools are needed to make systemic climate risks legible as sites of shared vulnerability, civic agency, and collective action.
If your work engages communities navigating heat, flooding, infrastructure stress, or everyday climate realities in Mumbai, do consider joining us.
