Just because I’m accepting your connection, doesn’t mean you can instantly offer me a life-changing solution to a problem I don’t remember mentioning — presumably because your CRM plugin told you I was a ‘warm lead’ (I cannot stand this term)!
Why wouldn’t you at least court me a little, instead of going for the surprise ambush angle?
Actually… What I have a blood-boiling problem with is the assumption that by showing up in someone’s inbox earns you their attention, their trust, and access to their budget.
