Tarot & pottery Glazing Workshop
Come spend an evening exploring intuition, symbolism, and transformation through tarot and ceramics.
Guided by tarot reader Melanie Webb, participants will draw a card and receive a short personal reading alongside an introduction to the Major Arcana — offering inspiration and intention for the creative process ahead.
Together with Amsterdam-based ceramicist Vera (Studio Pebbles), you’ll translate the emotions and imagery from your reading onto a ceramic plate created especially for this evening.
Working intuitively with glazes and symbolism, the workshop invites participants into two meditative practices: tarot as self-reflection, and ceramics as a tactile form of expression and healing.
After the workshop, all plates will be kiln-fired at Studio Pebbles and ready for pickup at a later date.

Vera Pebbles is an Amsterdam-based ceramic artist and teacher, and founder of Studio Pebbles in Amsterdam Oost. Her work explores themes of intimacy, grief, connection, and transformation through an intuitive approach to clay. Drawing inspiration from symbolism, religion, tattoo culture, and the occult, she creates sculptural pieces where vulnerability, darkness, and romance coexist. Vera began working with ceramics during her own healing journey from burnout and PTSD, and now aims to create spaces where others can reconnect with creativity, expression, and play through clay.
Melanie Webb is a practitioner of Vedic astrology, Ayurveda, tarot, and body awareness. Her work is rooted in years of studying Indian and Southeast Asian spiritual traditions, combined with symbolic psychology and astrological guidance. Through her practice, Melanie explores the relationship between the unconscious, intuition, and the experience of inner unity. She works with Svaha Yoga where she focuses on Jyotisa and yoga, is connected to the Embassy of the Free Mind where she offers Tarot and symbolic psychology, and offers consultations in Amsterdam-Noord and online.
