Jerlisa “Juju” Fontaine is the Founder and CEO of HuCapital, an AI-powered social platform connecting entrepreneurial creatives and professionals through 1:1, peer group, and guided matches powered by its AI engine, Huey. She is redefining networking by transforming online connections into high-trust, in-person relationships that drive careers, businesses, and collaboration.
In addition to her work as a founder, Fontaine is a seasoned product manager and tech leader with over a decade of experience in digital health and professional development. She has built and led solutions across AI-powered career tools, health engagement platforms, SMS programs, chatbots, and electronic health record systems.
Magic Washington, Head of Community and Events, HuCapital
Magic Washington is the Head of Community and Events at HuCapital, where she designs experiences that bring the right people into the right rooms and keep them connected long after. Through HuCapital's AI-powered platform, she helps unite entrepreneurial creatives and professionals through intentional, high-impact connections.
She has curated 500+ person experiences across NYC and brings a strategic, data-driven approach to community building. With a background in talent and tech sales, Magic focuses on creating stronger networks and real opportunities. As a natural connector, she is passionate about closing gaps in access, knowledge, and relationships.
Michael A., Head of Tech & Innovation, HuCapital
Michael is the Head of Tech and Innovation at HuCapital, where he leads the development of systems that power meaningful connections between creatives and professionals. He brings over 10 years of experience across tech, education, and leadership, with expertise in emerging technologies, systems thinking, and innovation management.
He has built and led teams across organizations including the City of New York, NPR, and Meta, and is also the Founder of Rita Group, an ed-tech company supporting the next generation of technologists. Michael currently teaches AI, tech, and design at CUNY and America on Tech, and is passionate about building an inclusive, forward-thinking digital future.
