About the speaker
Dr. Christoph Leuze, Founder, Nakamir
Christoph founded Nakamir to build training and guidance solutions for the factory of the future using augmented reality. As director of the Stanford Visualization Lab, he taught Stanford's first Medical Mixed Reality class and led research on sensor fusion, signal processing, and automating AR content generation by recording how users interact with the real world. His work has earned the IEEE VR People's Choice Award for best AR demo, a TechConnect Award recognizing one of the most promising innovations for national security, and the prize for best 3D video at the Ars Electronica Art and Science Festival. He studied at Leipzig and Chiba University, and received the Max Planck Society's Otto Hahn Medal for his PhD thesis on medical data visualization.

An experienced technician performs a task once while wearing a headset or holding a phone, and Nakamir's AI converts that recording into work instructions any technician can follow on a browser, phone, or AR headset and search anyplace and anytime.
