VerdeLab by LSE & Chevening: Venture Spotlight Evening (Bogota)
London School of Economics is coming to Colombia!
LSE Generate — the entrepreneurship centre of the London School of Economics — together with its Chevening alumni, is launching VerdeLab, a micro-accelerator supporting women founders from all over the country who are creating solutions for the environment, biodiversity, and sustainability.
Women constitute only 27% of entrepreneurs in Latin America, indicating a significant gender gap in the business sector. To address this, the series upskills Colombian women who have a microbusiness or a business idea but lack entrepreneurial knowledge.
Join us for an evening salon to meet the inspiring founders and celebrate green innovations that are made in Colombia. We welcome start-up investors, mentors and corporate leaders and wider ecosystem players to attend.
In attendance in Bogota will be the senior leaders from British Embassy Bogota and La Salle University.
