​Climate Day at DPW 2026 centres on the theme of Local Leadership for Climate-Resilient Economies, spotlighting how place-based, community-led action is shaping climate response across rural landscapes, cities, coastlines, and frontline systems of health and disaster response. The day brings together practitioners, philanthropists, policymakers, media, and community leaders to ground big climate ideas in lived realities. Through panels, flash conversations, and roundtables, Climate Day surfaces what is working on the ground, what remains under-recognised, and what it will take to strengthen locally led approaches that build inclusive, resilient economies rooted in people and place.
