Introducing RisingWave v2.7

​📋 What Is It About?

We’re excited to announce RisingWave v2.7, delivering deeper Iceberg integration along with broad improvements across performance, security, and operations.

This release further strengthens RisingWave’s Iceberg integration, making it easier and safer to run Iceberg in production. It also introduces backfill performance optimizations and LDAP authentication support, alongside many additional improvements and fixes across the system.

Yingjun Wu, Founder and CEO at RisingWave Labs.
Before founding the company, Yingjun worked as a software engineer on the Redshift team at Amazon Web Services and as a researcher in the Database group at the IBM Almaden Research Center. Yingjun received his PhD degree from the National University of Singapore and was a visiting PhD at Carnegie Mellon University. He has been working in the field of stream processing and database systems for over a decade.
