​Our First European Defense Tech Hackathon Focused on OSINT and FIMI

​Join us and 100+ hackathon participants from all across Europe and beyond for the European Defense Tech Hackathon on Nov 6-8, 2026, co-organized with the dtec.bw project "Media for Peace (M4P)" at the University of the Armed Forces, in Munich.

​M4P has spent years researching how information is used as a weapon in conflict — Foreign Information Manipulation and Interference (FIMI) — and what you can build to counter it. The hackathon takes on the same problems.

​If you're working on open-source intelligence (OSINT), information operations, or counter-disinformation, this is the one to come to!

​You get 48 hours, mentors from the Bundeswehr (German Federal Armed Forces), and researchers from across the Munich ecosystem who will tell you whether your idea and prototype actually hold up!
