About the speaker
Lars Emil Christensen is Head of AI & Automation at Ingeniøren in Copenhagen, where he drives both immediate AI solutions and long-term automation strategy toward 2028.
Previously he served as CIO / Head of IT & Development (2018–2025), balancing new product development with the reliable operation of business-critical systems while managing teams in Denmark and offshore.
About n8n & the Danish Community
n8n is a visual AI & Automation platform. It was founded in 2019 by Jan Oberhauser in Berlin. In 2024 with the arrival of new AI features (LLM’s becoming generally available via APIs) - n8n became extremely popular because of how easy it now was for everyone to build and manage AI in their own workflows.
Lars Emil had worked with n8n at work since the beginning and sought a community in Copenhagen with like-minded people. It didn't exist, so Lars Emil took a chance and started the local community in August 2025, and later became an official n8n Ambassador. n8n Copenhagen is the first Danish community specifically for n8n, and has hosted 11 events at the time of writing.
