​2026년 4월, OpenAI와 AWS는 전략적 파트너십을 확장하며 OpenAI의 프론티어 모델, Codex, OpenAI 기반 에이전트 기능을 AWS 환경에서 사용할 수 있는 길을 열었습니다.

​이번 변화는 단순히 모델 제공 채널이 하나 늘어난 것이 아닙니다. AWS를 사용 중인 기업과 개발팀은 기존 보안, 거버넌스, 권한 관리, 조달, 과금 체계 안에서 OpenAI의 최신 모델과 도구를 검토하고 운영할 수 있게 되었습니다. 동시에 OpenAI API를 직접 사용할 때와 Amazon Bedrock을 통해 사용할 때의 차이, 조직의 보안·컴플라이언스 요구사항, 리전과 기능 지원 범위, Codex를 실제 개발 워크플로에 적용하는 방식까지 함께 고려해야 하는 새로운 선택지가 생겼습니다.

​Join Codex Community Korea for an evening meetup on the OpenAI and AWS partnership, OpenAI models on Amazon Bedrock, Codex-powered development workflows, and building OpenAI-powered agents.

​Description

​In April 2026, OpenAI and AWS expanded their strategic partnership, opening a path for OpenAI frontier models, Codex, and OpenAI-powered agent capabilities to be used within AWS environments.

​This is more than an additional model deployment channel. For companies and development teams already using AWS, this creates a new way to evaluate and operate OpenAI’s latest models and tools within existing AWS security, governance, access management, procurement, and billing workflows. It also introduces new decisions for teams to consider, including the differences between using the OpenAI API directly and accessing OpenAI models through Amazon Bedrock, security and compliance requirements, regional and feature availability, and how Codex can be integrated into real-world development workflows.

​At this Codex Community Korea meetup, AWS speakers will walk through the meaning of the OpenAI and AWS partnership, how to use OpenAI frontier models on Amazon Bedrock, Codex on Amazon Bedrock, and approaches for building OpenAI-powered agents.

​This session is designed for developers already using OpenAI models, enterprise teams operating generative AI workloads on AWS, engineers exploring Codex for developer productivity, and builders looking to bring agent-based applications into production.

​Light food and drinks will be provided, followed by networking with the local Codex and AI builder community.
