Rewilding Site Visit: Harold's Wildland x Nattergal
Just a year into its rewilding journey, Harold’s Park Wildland is already buzzing with signs of nature’s quiet comeback. Once an arable farm and pony paddock on London’s doorstep, the land was acquired by Nattergal in 2024 with one bold goal: let nature take the lead.
Now, under the guidance of site manager Tom Moat drawing on lessons from Nattergal’s other sites and inspired by the groundbreaking work at Knepp, the transformation is underway. Ancient-breed pigs are turning the soil, brash piles and hedgerow gaps are inviting wildlife in, and oak saplings are breaking through former crop fields.
Join us for Blue Earth’s second immersive site visit to see this rewilding project in action one year on.
