About Event

For the past five years, the Nature Tech Collective has been bringing together the people working hardest to make nature a business reality — at the London School of Economics, in partnership with the Doris Duke Foundation, with Conservation International, and with organisations including JP Morgan, Coca-Cola, Google, Chanel, HSBC, Rio Tinto, TNFD, UNEP, and many more.

Nature in Practice is our NY Climate Week gathering for 2026.

A half-day summit on Thursday 24 September at monday.com's Manhattan headquarters, designed as a non-solicitation environment for honest, practical conversation amongst pre-vetted sustainability leads, nature tech innovators, investors, and NGO partners in a room built for real exchange.

Programme

The afternoon opens with a 30-minute plenary of concrete offers to the ecosystem.

From 4 PM, three parallel working sessions run simultaneously across breakout rooms of 15–28 people, with a fourth session in the main Members Lounge. Every session is anchored by a voice working through a challenge, most running under Chatham House Rule.

Block 1 — 4:00 PM

  • Exploring alternative uses of the Aurora model for Earth system forecasting — Microsoft

  • From data to decisions: What makes landscape data fit for nature action? — LandScale/Rainforest Alliance, University of Sussex

  • The missing half of MRV: building the social side of nature data — Straatos

  • Nature intelligence for conservation: AI and advanced technologies — Nature Data Lab (closed-door, 3–5 PM)

Block 2 — 5:00 PM

  • Prove your number: the future of nature data reporting — Conservation X Labs

  • What would it take for sustainability to become a product design criterion? — Ingredion

  • How do you actually determine ROI on nature? — Hula Earth

  • The incentive gap: why supply chain commitments stop at Tier 1 — Yield Lab

Block 3 — 6:00 PM

  • Nature as critical infrastructure: who pays to protect it? — Bezos Earth Fund

  • Reconciling local and global scales in biodiversity metrics for business — UNEP-WCMC

  • Nature scenarios: a new framework for quantifying financial risk — Dunya Analytics

After the workshops, the evening closes with wine, beer, and informal conversation on monday.com's rooftop wine bar terrace, hosted by Superorganism VC

Co-Created by

Nature in Practice is not a produced event. It was built from the ground up by a group of NTC member organisations who co-funded it, shaped the programme, and brought their networks into the room. Every organisation below has had a hand in making this happen.

Straatos · Dunya Analytics · Conservation X Labs · Brightwater · R-evolution · Hula Earth · Vizzuality · LandPrint · Creattura · Yield Lab · Satelligence · Nature Data Lab
