Sex Goddess Full Moon Red Tent
Sex Goddess Full Moon Red Tent
with Kohenet Annie Matan
In this intimate, monthly online gathering for women, we explore our sexuality, questions, and stories of our intimate relationships with ourselves, our partners (of all genders), and our bodies.
The Sex Goddess theme offers an intentional focus for our conversations, and participation in the theme is always optional. You are welcome to come as you are and share whatever is present for you, on or off topic, within the care of the circle.
This is a sacred, facilitated space for honest conversation — a place to name systemic conditioning and oppression, and to celebrate our sexy, powerful, vibrant selves. It is for women who want to say all those things out loud, be held in what’s hard, and revel in pleasure and possibility.
Example topics may include:
the orgasm gap and what to do about it
celebrating great sex with ourselves and/or partners
Ask Me Anything about polyamory, relationship dynamics, and what becomes possible when we let go of heteronormativity and mononormativity
favourite sex toys
using dating apps to have great first dates
the joys and oys of sexual discovery
loving (or learning to like) our bodies in all their shapes and stages
the intersections of intuition, sexuality, and relationship
talking about “taboo” topics with ourselves and others
the role of patriarchy and white supremacy in sexual conditioning
This is a sacred space, free from judgment or shame.
About the facilitator:
Kohenet Annie Matan (me) is a queer, poly, formerly married single mama and priestess. I’ve been listening to, learning from, and supporting friends, partners, clients, and family around sex, relationships, and embodiment for over 20 years. I love talking and learning about sex, relationships, and bodies. I believe all bodies are beautiful, and I’m genuinely curious about other people’s yums (I promise not to yuck them).
I am not a therapist or certified sex educator, and I don’t have all the answers. Together, we have many. I also have trusted colleagues and resources for referrals when needed.
My hope is that our time together feels like an exhale. Come as you are. Ask for what you need to feel comfortable. Find a spot on your couch, a chair, or a pillow on the floor.
You’re invited to bring food or drink to nourish yourself, an item for our shared altar (which you’ll take home with you), and a question or story — or simply your presence.
This circle is open to all cis and trans women. If you’re seeking a brave space to connect with other women, whether or not you menstruate, you’re welcome here.
Meets monthly on Thursdays, 8–10 pm
