At Saturday Scribe, our commitment is to foster a consistent, inspiring community where writers of all levels can gather, create, and grow. Memberships are designed to sustain this community, supporting our gatherings, facilitators, and resources. To maintain fairness and clarity for all members, we’ve established the following refund policy:

While membership fees are non-refundable, we are committed to making your Saturday Scribe experience meaningful. If you encounter challenges, please reach out to our team so we can explore solutions together.

Please note the added hour for this session is solely for extended share time. The session will flow as normal “ending” with a group photo moment at 12 and a pause to reset for additional sharing.

Saturday Scribe is a weekly creative writing gathering for people who want protected time to write, think, and build their creative practice in community. Writers of all levels and genres are welcome—film, poetry, prose, theater, and hybrid work.

. This month is about who a character is before the story begins—before relationships, conflict, or major decisions shape them. Each week, we work through scene-based prompts designed to help writers build depth, motivation, and interior life.

 to see the weekly prompt ahead of time. You are welcome to write on the prompt or bring a project you are already working on. Writing on the prompt is encouraged, but not required.

A pen and paper or a notebook you enjoy writing in. We encourage the analogue approach! Bring curiosity and a willingness to write.
