​kicking off pride this year with a special desi-inspired vogue workshop in honour of both AAPI Heritage Month (May) and Pride Month (June). you better be there or you're homophobic...i don't make the rules...

​ i'm so excited to celebrate vogue as an art form with my community, and to highlight the intersection it shares with desi dance/art, as well as the inherent queerness of desi dance traditions.

​this workshop is open to all levels and performers, but is geared towards beginners and local desi drag kings and queens!

​we'll go over the basic vogue elements, and then weave them into a special choreo inspired by classical and folk desi dance styles.
