Nucleate RTP - Bridging Science and Society: Design Thinking and Storytelling for Real World Solutions
Join us for an interactive, in-person workshop exploring how design thinking and storytelling can help translate ideas into real-world solutions. This event is hosted in collaboration with The Junction, Innovate Carolina’s hub for innovation and entrepreneurship.
The workshop and a brief tour of The Junction will be led by Bill Romani, PT, PhD, Director of Design and Innovation for the Public Good at Innovate Carolina.
What to Expect
Participants will engage in a hands-on design exercise to explore problems from multiple stakeholder perspectives. Through team-based brainstorming, rapid prototyping, and iteration, you’ll experience how user feedback reshapes innovation.
No prior experience in design, entrepreneurship, or innovation is required. This is not a lecture — it’s a collaborative, in-person experience designed to expand how you approach science, problem-solving, and impact.
Space is limited.
