write your trend piece or op-ed
about the session:
the main idea: your third article targets an online magazine, new media outlet, or regional publication. trend pieces and op-eds put your perspective in front of audiences discovering your category for the first time. you'll draft your piece, review your submissions from this month, and build your follow-up strategy.
the purpose: this is byline bootcamp — session three of three. the sprint closes today. we'll also discuss how media lab is evolving based on your feedback and what the path forward looks like — together.
for members only. to submit a question you'd like us to address during media lab, please send it to [email protected]
what to expect:
format: we host virtually on zoom.
who it's for: media lab members who have been in byline bootcamp this month. if you missed a session, come anyway.
about media lab:
media lab is a roundtable that teaches executives and founders to become the definitive voice in their category through strategic media placement. members get weekly strategic sessions, direct access to working journalists, frameworks for pitching and placement, campaign teardowns, and a community of executives building category authority in outlets like Axios, Forbes, Fast Company, Newsweek and Rolling Stone.
