How To Raise Your First Million
How to Raise Your First Million
Raising your first round can feel like a black box. Everyone talks about term sheets, investor meetings, angels, VCs, warm intros, momentum, and FOMO, but not many people tell you what it actually looks like when you’re in it.
This event is for founders who are raising now, thinking about raising soon, or simply want to better understand how early-stage fundraising really works.
We’ll hear from 4 early-stage founders (one of whom used to be a VC) who have recently raised capital as they share the honest version of the story: how they approached investors, how they built interest in their round, what worked, what didn’t, and how they managed conversations across angels, VCs, and everyone in between.
Expect practical insights, real lessons, and the kind of advice that usually comes out after the formal panel is over. This is a chance to learn from people who have been through it recently and can speak openly about the process, the pressure, and the strategy behind getting a round done.
For those founders that need extra 1:1 mentorship for their next round, we are running a workshop for 10 founders where we'll go into more detail, look over decks, help with investor lists etc. Only 10 spots available for now: https://luma.com/2ywgs5nh
Whether you are actively fundraising or just want to get smarter before your time comes, come along for an evening of candid founder stories, useful takeaways, and great conversations with other people building in the ecosystem.
