​What happens when quantum computers become powerful enough to challenge the cryptographic systems we rely on today?

​Quantum Talks, presented by Moonstruck and the Center for Quantum Technologies of Serbia, brings quantum computing into a practical conversation about the technologies already shaping our digital world - from AI and blockchain to cybersecurity and the data economy.

​Together with Dr Sanja Djurdjić Mijin, we'll explore where quantum computing actually stands today, what today's hardware can and cannot do, and how close we really are to the point where existing cryptographic systems could be at risk.

​We'll also look beyond quantum computing itself and into its growing intersections with other technologies:

• ​What could quantum computing mean for existing blockchain security?

• ​How realistic is Q-Day in the near future?

• ​What happens to encrypted data collected today if it can be decrypted years from now?

• ​Where do AI and quantum computing intersect - and what could that unlock?

​The goal is not to predict a quantum future, but to separate real technological progress from hype and understand the opportunities, limitations, and security challenges already worth paying attention to.

​The talk will be followed by an open discussion and Q&A.
