Community Clean Energy Day
Come join us for a family-friendly party at the Wind Turbine! Community Clean Energy Day is your invitation to gather and play at the site of North America's first urban wind project. Bring your friends, family, and curiosity- there’ll be hourly turbine info sessions, hands-on renewable energy activities for all ages, live music, delicious eats, smoothie bikes, and more!
Whether you’re a renewable energy superfan or just interested in what’s spinning in Toronto, this is the place to be. Hosted by SolarShare and a crew of passionate partners, you’ll find plenty to explore, learn, and taste. Swing by, soak up the good vibes, and discover how we’re putting "fun" in renewFablUe eNergy...
Getting to and from the Wind Turbine
By bicycle: We will have bike racks set up next to the turbine. Feel free to bike right up to the event and lock your bike at our temporary racks. For those of you interested in group rides, Charlie's Free Wheels is hosting a group ride to and from Charlie's and some folks will ride from the turbine to Yonge and Dundas for Draw the Line.
By transit or car: visit Exhibition Place's website here. To get to the turbine, specifically, follow the big (real big) spinning white fan or follow WindShare's coordinates here.
