The State of Black Venture 2025: A Call to Capital Gala, Presented by BLCK VC
🥂 Join BLCK VC for an evening of stewardship and celebration during the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation’s Annual Legislative Conference (CBCF ALC) to honor the release of our 2025 State of Black Venture Report.
Hosted at the historic Smithsonian Art Museum and National Portrait Gallery in Washington, D.C., this black-tie gala will convene a powerful community of funders, investors, policymakers, and champions of equity in venture capital.
As we gather during a week centered on Black political and economic power, we’ll reflect on the data, stories, and structural challenges shaping the future, and our collective responsibility to act.
Our programming for the evening is as follows:
• 5:45 PM | Doors open for VIP guests
• 6:00-7:15 PM | Private welcome reception for VIP guests
• 6:45 PM | Doors open for all guests
• 7:00-8:00 PM | Opening reception for all guests featuring seasonal cocktails and curated sounds
• 8:00-9:30 PM | Seated dinner, remarks and programming featuring special guests
• 9:30-11:00 PM | Closing reception: mingle, dance, fellowship and unwind in good company with curated sounds by DJ Red Corvette
This moment is an invitation to deepen your commitment to our mission and invest in the long-term infrastructure required to advance Black fund managers, operators, and ecosystem builders. From the insights revealed in this year’s report to the relationships built in the room, the evening offers an opportunity to steward this work forward, together.
Please note: This is ticketed event with a seated dinner, opening and closing receptions. Space is limited to 200 guests.
