Webinar: BiTS Americas Applications
What would you do if you were able to bring the greatest minds together to solve one of society’s biggest technological or scientific challenges?
The answer is probably different from your business as usual—both in kind and in scale.
Led by former DARPA PMs Joshua Elliott and JP Chretien with support from Coefficient Giving (fka Open Philanthropy), the Big if True Science Accelerator teaches key strategies and tactics to scope bold concepts and transform those concepts into actionable programs. It involves 15 weeks of iteration on a program vision, paired with 1:1 guidance from experienced mentors, and culminates in a demo day pitch to funders and potential host institutions. The program is part-time and virtual, designed to be compatible with full-time work
With two cohorts underway in partnership with UK's Advanced Research and Invention Agency (ARIA) and Germany's Federal Agency for Breakthrough Innovation (SPRIND) in Germany, we invite ambitious scientists and technologists to join our third cohort in the Americas. We will support 10-16 aspiring R&D leaders to develop detailed visions for ARPA-style coordinated research programs (CRPs) or other innovative research program designs.
This webinar will be an opportunity to learn about BiTS and understand the application process for the Americas.
