ATEA Angel group/mentor connect kickoff/ExIm opportunities
ATEA will kick off 2026 activities with the launching of long awaited ANGEL group for the benefit of our members. It is also proposed to launch a Mentor Connect group also. ATEA is launching an angel investor network to connect global high-net-worth individuals, specifically focusing on the Tamil diaspora, to fund early-stage startups.
Purpose: To connect Tamil diaspora with startups in Tamil Nadu.
Stage: Early-stage/seed funding.
Target: High-net-worth individuals, particularly those with a professional background in technology or business.

The Angel network will be headed by a veteran in the field who had been associated with TiEAngels, Anand Jagannathan.

Mentor Connect
Mentor Connect will start with a session with Mani Krishnan, Shastha Foods. The topic : Start your Export Import business - today.
From a bootstrapped idea to a multi-million dollar import, export company, Mani Krishnan brings real world inspirations, not theory. He will cover the whole gamut of running the business from his learnings.
The meetup will also feature startup pitches from a few selected companies, representing the XR (extended reality), Life Sciences, and AI domains. Each startup will share its vision, innovation, and growth journey, offering attendees a glimpse into emerging ideas shaping the future.
In this meeting, we will also be announcing some exciting new programs for 2026:
ATEA Mentor Group led by Ravi Mahalingam. This will be followed by dinner.
