CoLab Art: Ambient Visions by Andrés Garzon
This month, visit Relay Coffee Roasters for a showcase exploring the intersection of visual art and music, featuring artwork by Andrés Garzon created for Corduroy Earth’s CoLab project.
As part of the Corduroy CoLab cohort, visual artist Andrés Garzon joined singer-songwriters Imogen Wasse and Willem James Cowan for a series of collaborative creative sessions. During these sessions, Imogen and Willem cowrote new music while Andrés created drawings inspired by the sounds and themes emerging from the room.
The CoLab Art Showcase presents a collection of these works, featuring newly created pieces alongside the original drawings that became the cornerstone imagery of the project.

Throughout the month, new music recordings from the project will be released and available for listening exclusively to visitors of the exhibit.
Come out for a coffee, spend some time with the artwork, and be among the first to hear unreleased music from the project.

Willem James Cowan and Imogen Wasse will be performing an intimate showcase at CoLodge Hamilton (288 James St. N.) as part of the CoQuest Art Festival. The showcase takes place on March 18 at 7:00pm.
Come out to hear a selection of original solo material alongside songs from their CoLab body of work, performed live.
