Climate Investigation Cleanup: The Carbon Traveler

​Climate Investigators, we need your help cracking a high-profile case! The Carbon Traveller - the plastic bottle - has been swindling the public with promises of convenience while carrying an 82-gram carbon footprint for just 12 minutes of use.

​This 2-hour investigation at Coronation Park includes 90 minutes of evidence collection (shoreline cleanup) and 15 minutes piecing together this criminal's journey from oil extraction through global shipping to 450-year decomposition. You'll remove real pollution while discovering why Toronto's excellent tap water makes bottled water an unnecessary climate crime.

​This is a standalone case - no experience necessary! All investigation tools will be provided. Located downtown with excellent transit access. Community service hours available for student investigators.
