About Event

Did you know that the origins of Valentine’s Day weren’t purely about romantic love?

In 3rd-century Rome, Emperor Claudius II is believed to have outlawed marriage, convinced that single men without wives or families made better soldiers.

Saint Valentine, a Christian priest, thought this was deeply unjust. He secretly helped soldiers and ordinary people stay connected to love, family, and meaning—acts of care that ultimately led to his imprisonment.

Valentine’s Day is about protecting human connection in systems that try to suppress it.

On this special day, join us if this feels like you:

  • You’re navigating difficulties or transitions (work, family, grief, relationships, burnout) and want a space to feel held, grounded, and not alone.

  • You’re craving real human connection beyond small talk.

  • You want a consent-based, platonic environment to explore safe connection, with clear boundaries respected.

Together, we’ll celebrate compassion, presence, and the experience of being held safely.

🌿 Agenda

2:00-2:15PM Welcome, consent guidelines, and grounding (warm tea served)

2:15-2:30PM Guided warm-up to relax the body and nervous system

2:30-3:00PM Speed hugging (the person who hugs the most people wins a prize)

3:00-4:00PM Open hugging & social at your own pace

You are always free to say yes, no, or not right now. Open to singles, couples, and friends.

Space is intentionally limited to ensure a safe and supportive experience.

RSVP early to reserve your spot. See you 💗
