A.A. "Alfie" Rustom is a producer, sci-fi author & creative entrepreneur dedicated to crafting immersive, high-concept science fiction and fantasy narratives.
Hear him share some of the lessons learned as he carves a world-building path through his B.I.O.M.A.N. Chronicles IP.
Phil Weinstein is an animation director and producer with credits spanning major studios. Directing highlights include Hellboy Animated (Starz), Curious George: Back to the Jungle (Universal), and Jackie Chan Adventures (Sony). He produced and directed two Balto films for Universal and Executive Produced Mickey Mouse Funhouse (Disney).
Phil began his career as a storyboard artist, with credits on Darkwing Duck, The Lion King II, and South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut. He is an Emmy Award winner, a Humanitas Prize recipient, and holds a BFA in Fine Art from Southern Methodist University.
Kenneth Hung is an animation artist with credits spanning major studios. Highlights include Big Hero 6: The Series (Disney), She-Ra and the Princess of Power (DreamWorks), Harvey Beaks (Nickelodeon), and most recently worked on Mickey Mouse Funhouse (Disney) with Phil.
Kenneth began his journey as a Network Operations Center (NOC) Technician at a datacenter in San Francisco working for the infamous Jim Watkins (Yes, that Jim Watkins from the QAnon HBO documentary). Later he went to art school in Fullerton, dropped out, and began his career in production at Nickelodeon and eventually 10 years as an artist at Disney.
Most recently, Phil and Ken have been exploring how AI can serve as a creative ally for animators, leading a research initiative built on the belief that artists should shape technology's role in their industry.
