Beyond The Book: Sustainability Discussions (Pt 1)
This event was created by three people who are genuinely curious about sustainability and addressing climate change. We are currently learning about different sides of sustainability ourselves, from science and economics to sociology, philosophy, and even spirituality.
In other words, this is a space for curiosity, not expertise.
The idea is to read and learn together, exchange thoughts, and explore possible actionable steps.
📚 This session
Our first gathering will be inspired by The Climate Book, but the conversation will go far beyond it. This book, edited by Greta Thunberg, is a collection of essays by leading scientists and thinkers, widely regarded as one of the best ways to get a bird's eye view of the climate crisis.
We’ll begin with a short presentation summarizing some of the book’s main themes, and then move into an open discussion.
To support a thoughtful and well-rounded conversation, we welcome everyone to bring articles, videos, or other materials connected to the topic.
