Build & Chill - 3D modeling/printing

​Hei!
We (the Thinkin’ Rocks nerds) are inviting you to join our building session!

​This week, you can work on 3D modeling and 3D printing or anything else that makes your eyes shine. During the session, you can challenge yourself by designing the most creative Raspberry Pi 5 case or printing a figure you’ve always wanted to try.

​We will provide some filament colors:

• ​PETG: white, light gray, black

• ​PLA: blue, pink, light blue

​Feel free to bring your own filament as well.

​We have only two 3D printers at Startup Sauna, so during the session, you will focus on modeling, and printing can be done during the week.

​If you’ve never worked with 3D printing, or if your laptop doesn’t have the required software installed, we suggest installing:

• ​FreeCAD (if you want to model your own case) or Onshape (online 3D CAD free for aalto students)

• ​Bambu Studio(the model needs to be sliced for the printer)

​If you don’t know how to model, you can also download ready-made models from:
