How to: Know when you have outgrown your sales process
Session Description:
You've been doing it all: the outreach, the follow-ups, the proposals, the closes. But what happens when the process that got you here starts to feel like it's holding you back? In this session, we're having the honest conversation every founder needs to have about their sales process. We'll dig into what it actually looks like when you've outgrown your current approach, what you can do right now to create some quick momentum, and how to know when it's time to bring in help, no matter if it is fractional support, a contractor, or your first full-time sales hire.
Attendee Outcomes:
OGCers will walk away knowing how to run a quick internal audit on their sales process, spot whether they're the bottleneck in their own pipeline, and have a clear framework for deciding when and how to ask for help.
About the Host:
I'm the Founder of Melia Strategy, a fractional sales leadership and education company built specifically for businesses that are going from founder-led sales to their first full-time sales hire. I work hands-on with founders who are the ones driving all of their own sales to help them figure out what's working, what's not, and what needs to change so they can stop being the bottleneck in their own growth. I've seen firsthand what happens when a scrappy founder's sales process stops scaling, and I've developed a practical, no-fluff approach to helping business owners audit where they are, make quick improvements, and decide when and how to bring in sales support. I bring both the strategic lens and the been-there energy to my partnerships.
