​Somalis for Sustainability and Somalis in Tech presents our first collaborative Climate Hackathon!

​We’d like to welcome you to build innovative, tech-driven solutions to tackle climate change, promote sustainable consumption and producton, and strengthen the resilience of the Somali Horn’s land.

The Horn is on the frontlines of climate change, facing increasingly severe droughts, environmental degradation, and pressure on both terrestrial and marine ecosystems. These challenges threaten livelihoods, food security, and economic development, particularly for communities that rely on agriculture, livestock, and coastal resources.

​This hackathon invites participants to develop innovative, technology-driven solutions that address climate change and strengthen ecosystem resilience, aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals:
