BSCT OpenMIC: What are you building, and what do you need?

Climate tech is full of brilliant science, but the best ideas do not always travel clearly.
Around The Drop 2026, Bite-Size Climate Tech is hosting a small OpenMIC-style founder-story session for scientists, engineers, founders, operators, investors, and ecosystem builders working on technical climate solutions.
The prompt is simple:
What are you building, and what do you need?
The 8-Year-Old Challenge:
Can you explain it so an 8-year-old could understand it, remember it, and repeat it?
This is not a pitch competition or a formal panel. Six to eight selected founders will share short lightning stories, and the room will help identify what landed, what remained confusing, which analogy made the idea click, and what the founder needs next.
Others are warmly invited to listen, meet the builders, and connect over coffee afterward. Selected stories may also lead to BSCT podcast conversations, roaming founder interviews, future episodes, or follow-up technical-storytelling work.
