UNFINISHED: A SIP AND CREATE NIGHT
At UNFINISHED, we invite you into an open space where creation is not rushed into resolution.
Here, unfinished work is not a flaw, it’s the beginning of something alive.
This is a night where creative process, vulnerability, curiosity, and open-ended thinking are honored above outcomes. Much like remembering who we are when we play, draw, make, pause, or simply sit with what’s not yet complete, UNFINISHED restores the human element in creativity:
the heart before the label,
the question before the answer,
the process before the product.
The evening is gently guided by Damla Elifoğlu, a multi-disciplinary artist and designer. Rather than teaching or directing toward a result, Damla holds the space through calm presence, simple prompts, and intuitive guidance supporting participants in entering their own process, at their own pace.
Who is this event for?
People with ideas they’ve started but never finished
Creatives feeling blocked or intimidated by “finished work”
Artists, writers, designers, performers and makers who miss creating without pressure
Anyone who wants a gentle reason to show up and make space
What to bring
Bring your unfinished projects, half-formed ideas, drafts, sketches, thoughts, questions or nothing at all. Anything that’s been waiting, paused, or left open is welcome.
What to expect
We offer a guided creative experience built on simple, human-centered methods.
We use open prompts instead of instructions.
Short invitations help you begin without needing a plan or a finished idea.We work with self-paced creation.
There is no fixed outcome and no right way to participate. You can make, pause, observe, or move between all three. We normalize unfinished work.
Nothing needs to be completed, explained, or shown. The process itself is enough.
The structure is light but supportive, with gentle facilitation, clear time frames, and soft transitions so you never have to wonder what’s happening next.
Your level of participation is always your choice. You may create actively, take breaks, watch others, or simply be present.
What you leave with
Not a finished piece but a lived experience of creating without pressure, and a softer, more trusting relationship with your own process.
This is not a workshop where you are taught what to make.
It is a space where you are allowed to make or -not make- freely.
