​Climate education is too often reduced to raising awareness about climate change, but awareness without agency risks slipping into denial.

​We begin from a different premise: climate change is the defining condition of our time. Education — whether in classrooms, communities, workplaces, or cultural spaces — must do more than inform. ​About this workshop:

​This workshop introduces CEAL — Climate Education for the Agency of our Lifetimes as a shared search: to explore what climate education is today, what it needs to become, and how it can move from performative gestures to transformative practices. At this full-day, interactive workshop, we will:

​🌱 Surface the gap between awareness and agency in climate education in our own contexts.

​📖 Share and stress-test the emerging CEAL framework rooted in justice, solidarity, imagination, and preparedness.

​🛠️ Apply futures tools, prototyping, and role-playing to design innovative climate learning practices.

​🤝 Connect educators, creators, and practitioners across diverse contexts to share, collaborate, and imagine collectively.

​Join us to co-create and test approaches that will move climate education from awareness to agency.
