Design Without a Designer
Bring your laptop and your taste. Leave with something you can publish.
Most people use Claude to write and plan. Far fewer use it to design, but that's exactly what Claude Design is for. It gives Claude a canvas and real design tools, so you describe what you want in plain language, watch it take shape, and refine it through conversation until it's right.
This two-hour hands-on workshop takes you through the whole thing. You'll set up a design system around your own colours, fonts and style, then use it to make something finished: a deck, flyer, social set or mockup you can actually publish by the end of the evening.
No stock templates. No watching someone design something you'll never use. You'll work on your own thing, with hands-on support in the room.
How the evening runs
It's built around two stages.
1. Your design system
First, you'll teach Claude your visual world: your colours, fonts, style and the references you love. You'll set up a reusable design system so everything Claude makes for you looks like yours, not a generic template. This is the part most people skip, and it's the part that makes everything after it click.
2. Make it and refine it
Then you'll build your actual piece on the canvas. You'll generate a first version and shape it through chat, adjusting layout, hierarchy, colour, spacing and copy until it holds together. You'll learn the iteration moves that get you from "close" to "done," and finish with something you can export and publish straight away.
What you'll leave with
A reusable design system built around your own colours, fonts and style
One finished, publishable piece: a deck, flyer, social set or mockup
A full Prompt Pack you can pull from whenever you design
Reusable design recipes for the pieces you make again and again
A repeatable process for going from rough idea to polished result
A clearer sense of when Claude Design is the right tool to reach for
Who this is for
This workshop is for founders, creators, freelancers and anyone building something of their own. People who regularly need things to look good but don't have a designer on call, or the time to wrestle with complex design software.
It's especially useful if you:
Keep making the same decks, flyers or social posts from scratch
Rely on tired templates that never quite fit
Have tried Claude for writing but never for visual work
Want professional-looking output without learning design tools
Have one thing you keep putting off because it's fiddly
No design background needed.
What to bring
Your laptop and charger
A Claude Pro account (about S$23/month, cancellable anytime)
One thing you want to design
Any brand assets, content or references connected to it: logos, colours, copy, images
Bring your laptop and your taste; we'll help with the rest. Full prep and setup instructions will be sent after you register.
Seats are limited
We keep the group small so everyone gets hands-on support to build, refine and troubleshoot their own work in the room. Places are first-come, first-served.
