​Square Circle and Google are hosting an intimate, senior-led conversation focused on board governance, leadership, board dynamics, and decision-making at scale.

​This session is designed for Board Directors, NEDs, Chairs, Executives, Fractional Leaders, Investors, and those starting or evolving their advisory and board journey, who want to explore how governance works in practice, not just in theory.

​The evening will combine a governance presentation, a fireside panel discussion, and high-quality peer networking with a curated group of around 50 senior leaders.

​Speakers & Contributors

​Fiona

​Fiona holds a PhD in Law specialising in Family Business and Corporate Governance and currently works at the UK’s Development Finance Institution. She has previously worked with a FTSE 250 company, Octopus Investments Group, and Charles Russell Speechlys LLP.

​Her experience includes statutory compliance across the UK and Commonwealth jurisdictions, board and committee management at executive level, implementation of corporate equity incentive schemes, and governance frameworks for venture capital portfolio companies. Fiona brings a strong blend of academic rigour and practical boardroom experience.

​Kelly Kuhn

​Kelly is an experienced C-suite executive, independent NED, board committee chair, and senior advisor, with more than 30 years of global leadership experience across complex, multinational organisations.

​She currently serves on multiple boards, including FTSE-listed and NYSE-listed companies, and is widely recognised for her work in governance, remuneration, nomination committees, ESG, transformation, and global growth. Kelly brings deep international board experience and a strong focus on leadership effectiveness, culture, and governance in complex environments.

​Alessandro Hatami

​Alessandro is a seasoned board-level executive and Non-Executive Director with extensive experience across financial services, banking, payments, and technology. He has held senior leadership roles at organisations including PayPal, Lloyds Banking Group, GE Capital, and PayPoint.

​He has served as a NED and committee chair in regulated environments and is a recognised thought leader on digital transformation, governance, and financial inclusion. Alessandro brings a strategic, technology-enabled perspective to board governance and scaling responsibly.
