Open Studio | AHMM

​With a reputation for bold, civic-minded architecture, AHMM invites students and graduates to explore what it means to work at scale in contemporary practice. This session will introduce attendees to AHMM’s collaborative approach, from early concept development to large-scale urban development, and the practice’s interest in heritage, education and health & science.

​Participants will receive constructive feedback on their portfolios, and there will be a chance to network at the end of the session.

​How It Works

​An Open Studio typically involves an introductory presentation by our host practice and meeting the team members and mentors who will be providing feedback to you on your applications.

​Participants will be split into small groups to ask specific questions about their CVs and portfolios as well as engage with their peers.

​We require attendees to bring physical portfolios for richer discussions. Each person will receive feedback for up to 15 minutes.

​Open Studio is :scale’s flagship programme, facilitating spaces for emerging creatives to connect, learn, and grow within the industry.

​Led by creative director Sana Tabassum, the studio offers collaborative workshops and mentoring that open up conversations around career development and creative practice.

​By linking early-career talent with leading practices across London, Open Studio helps bridge the gap between education and the professional world.
