This presentation explores how cryptoasset law actually applies in the UK, from financial promotion restrictions to the risks of identifiable controllers and the challenges of token launches. It focuses on the emerging UK regulatory framework and the choice of a suitable jurisdiction in which to launch a cryptoasset project, considering where decentralisation provides regulatory insulation, where it does not, and what innovators need to know when choosing how (and where) to build their business.
