Balm for Resonant Beings
You are a resonant being.
Constantly absorbing the frequencies around you. Other people's moods, the world's chaos, the weight of everything. It's exhausting. And it's hard to tell what's yours and what you picked up from someone else.
At Soul Care Sunday on March 8, we create space for you to come back and experience your own resonance.
We do this together, in community. Like an orchestra tuning, each person listening for their own pitch. The shared experience creates the field that makes it safe enough to notice yourself.
Through guided sound, movement, breath, and stillness, you clear the static and distortion. You resource yourself. You remember your own frequency.
When you practice feeling yourself among others, you get stronger at holding that awareness when you go back out into the world.
Come tune your instrument. We're just a bunch of singing bowls disguised as meat sacks.

ABOUT US
Hi, I’m Karen Choi (Founder of Balm & facilitator) - I’m glad you’re here. After years working behind the scenes in classical music, I craved something deeper. I wanted a relational experience you could feel in your body, not just watch from a seat. That became Balm.
I design restorative music experiences that invite people to slow down, reset, and soften back into connection with themselves, others, and the moments we share. Through live music, movement, breath, vocal toning, poetry, and guided rest, we create an honest space to be present with what’s real.
In addition to hosting Soul Care Sundays every month, I bring this work to conferences, community events, and wellness spaces.
Trish Lanns (Sound bath facilitator & EFT-tapping practitioner) - Her path to this work began while navigating anxiety and depression. Yoga helped her shift from an overactive mind into a grounded body. That transformation led her to sound healing and Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT-tapping), modalities that deepened her self-care practice and revealed the power of inner healing.
Her work is guided by love and compassion. I'm grateful to collaborate with Trish whose soundscapes help you connect with your own resonance.
