​Connecting China & Europe · Riding the Wave of Innovation

​To promote technology and innovation exchange between China and Europe, facilitate project matchmaking, and foster international industry collaboration, the Centro Innovazione Italiano, serving as the Secretariat of the Organizing Committee, will host the WAVE YOUNG | CHINA - EUROPE TECH FESTIVAL from October 23–25, 2026, at Minghua Sugar Warehouse Art Center, Yangpu Riverside, Shanghai.

​Under the theme “Connecting China & Europe · Riding the Wave of Innovation,” the event will focus on Artificial Intelligence, Smart Manufacturing, Green Technology, and other emerging fields.

​The three-day program will bring together technology companies, universities, research institutions, business associations, investment organizations, and young international innovators. Through keynote sessions, panel discussions, technology showcases, project demonstrations, and business networking, the event aims to connect China–Europe innovation resources with market opportunities, creating a platform for international expansion and cross-border collaboration.

​The forum will explore the development and industrial applications of Artificial Intelligence, with discussions covering foundation models, AI agents, data security, and emerging AI applications.

​The program will also examine practical opportunities at the intersection of technology and industry, including smart manufacturing, green development, and life sciences & healthcare.

​To support technology companies seeking to enter international markets, a dedicated Europe Market Expansion Session will address topics including product localization, market access, channel development, and partnerships with European companies and institutions. Industry representatives will share practical insights into navigating the European market.

​Showcase Innovation · Accelerate Project Matchmaking

​Set against the innovative environment of Yangpu Riverside and the distinctive setting of Minghua Sugar Warehouse Art Center, the project showcase will combine technology demonstrations with real-world application scenarios.

​Participating projects will have the opportunity to present their technologies, products, and solutions through live demonstrations, project presentations, and on-site business meetings.

​The showcase is designed to connect innovative projects with industry partners, R&D resources, investors, and potential customers, enabling participants to better understand the technologies and their commercial applications while creating opportunities for follow-up collaboration.

​As the Secretariat of the Organizing Committee, the Centro Innovazione Italiano will leverage its network across Chinese and European companies, universities, research institutions, and professional organizations to support speaker and guest invitations, project recruitment, international outreach, and business matchmaking.

​The Secretariat is also working to identify the needs of participating companies in areas such as market expansion, distribution channels, R&D cooperation, and professional services, and match them with relevant partners.
