​Rapidata Hackathon - Zurich

​Rapidata provides on-demand human feedback for AI model training and evaluation. By distributing micro-annotation tasks across a global network through programmatic ad inventory, Rapidata enables researchers to collect large-scale labels, preference judgments, and evaluations within minutes.

During this hackathon, you can build anything literally. As long as it uses Rapidata to get real human feedback.

​What it is

​An 8-hour build sprint for people who ship. You can work on a startup idea, an agent, a product prototype, or something totally unhinged.

​The only rule

​Your project must use Rapidata’s SDK to get real human feedback. 

​What you can build

• ​A new startup concept that relies on human feedback as a core primitive

• ​Agentic workflows

• ​Integration of human feedback in a project you’re already working on

• ​Any ML workflow where real human feedback is used to evaluate, rank, approve, or route model outputs before deployment…

​Format

• ​30 min intro: what Rapidata is + live SDK demo (create → preview → run → results)

• ​~8 hours building (from scratch to demo/prod-ish)

• ​Demo night + prizes

​Demo requirements

​In your demo you must show:

• ​the Rapidata task runs (or preview/progress),

• ​the results fetched via SDK,

• ​what it changed in your system,

• ​Slides aren’t necessary, the most important is to show a working demo of what you’re building.

​Judging criteria (what we optimize for)

• ​Creativity and Relevance of your project 

• ​Rapidata integration depth: is human feedback central or just decoration?

• ​Value created: what does human feedback unlock (quality, safety, accuracy, UX, speed, cost)?

• ​Clarity of the human task: are instructions and the question well-designed?

• ​End-to-end execution: does it work live, reproducible, clean story?

• ​Genius factor: surprising use-case, elegant loop, bold idea.

Who should apply

​ML engineers, builders, founders, product people, researchers, designers… anyone who wants to ship and test ideas fast. Beginners are welcome if you can code/vibe-code...
