Our November Social Founders Talk is with Alex Stephany, Founder & CEO of BEAM in UK, New York and Italy, who will be interviewed by Sadaffe Abid, Founder & CEO of CIRCLE Women in Pakistan.
Alex Stephany is an award-winning social entrepreneur and the Founder of Beam: a social enterprise bringing AI to welfare services, trusted by over 100 government partners.

Since launching in 2017, and now based in New York, Beam has changed the lives of thousands of people 'on the brink' and brought AI, including market leading social care AI tool Magic Notes, to one third of the UK’s social care teams.
An advocate of social business, Alex is passionate about the role technology can play in solving huge social problems.
Before Beam, Alex was CEO of JustPark, backed by Index Ventures and BMW, which has successfully exited. An expert on the sharing economy, Alex is also the author of The Business of Sharing, published by Macmillan and advised the former Mayor of Seoul on collaborative technology. She founded CIRCLE Women Association, a tech-enabled nonprofit that’s empowered over 200,000 lives across Pakistan, helping women gain digital skills, financial literacy, and career readiness.
At CIRCLE, they use technology to help women thrive. From basic digital literacy to tech skills like coding and digital marketing through their TechKaro programme, they equip women—especially from underserved areas—with tools to access learning, jobs, and entrepreneurship.
