CHICAGO BENGALIS! Come celebrate Bangladesh's Ekushey February with an intimate Pitha Party honoring our language, culture, and community in Chicago!
🧣 Dress Code: Wear your Saris, Punjabis, or Salwar Kameezes and embrace the spirit of the evening.
🥮 Bring a Pitha! Share a homemade or store-bought pitha or mishti and prepare a short presentation about its significance to you. Feel free to present in Bangla!
🎲 Games & Trivia: Test your Bengali knowledge with interactive games!
🍛 Dinner: We’ll end the night the true Bengali way—eating a feast with our hands. Enjoy a feast of beef biryani, chicken roast, and salad, catered by Masala Magic, a new Bangladeshi restaurant in River North.
