​An informal gathering with the founders of POV Budapest exploring how to build meaningful connections between local creative communities and global cultural networks.

​POV Budapest is an independent, city‑rooted conference for visual practices and a platform focused on connecting local creative communities with a broader international context. 

It brings an overwhelmingly international audience from over 50 countries to Budapest, and a deliberately diverse lineup spanning studios, platforms, and cultural voices. Each year is built around a new theme for creatives to reflect rather than just present, with names including 21st Europe, Snøhetta, David Rudnick, Porto Rocha, OpenAI, Are.na, Mouthwash Studio, Anna Kulachek, and more.

This gathering at Index Space Chinatown is an informal moment to meet, talk, and reflect on what it means to build and sustain connections between local and global scenes today, with founders Mátyás Czél and Boldizsár Mátyás joining us live to share how POV Budapest was built, what they are learning from connecting cities, and where they see the platform heading next.
