​NowNow Living Markets Competition Briefing & Site Visit - Jubilee Market, Kisumu

​What if your competition entry could help shape a real market investment?

​On 21 October, NowNow, AAK, ICLEI Africa and Kisumu City invite architects, urbanists, designers, engineers and built-environment professionals to a briefing and guided site visit at Jubilee Market, one of the two case-study sites for the Living Markets Design Competition.

​Participants will hear from the City of Kisumu, learn more about the competition and ICLEI Africa’s ReMark Initiative, and walk through the market to better understand its social, spatial and infrastructural realities.

​The competition asks how targeted, modular interventions can improve food safety, sanitation, waste management, climate resilience and logistics while strengthening the networks that already sustain the market.
