登壇するのは、シンガポール政府系ファンドTemasekが出資するグローバルVC、Vertex Holdings※)のパートナーシップグループ・マネージングディレクター Brian Toh。

This is a small, interactive session focused on collaboration between Japanese corporations and global startups.
The speaker will be Brian Toh, Managing Director of the Partnership Group at Vertex Holdings※), a global venture capital firm backed by Singapore’s sovereign wealth fund Temasek. Vertex manages over $6.5 billion in assets and has invested in more than 300 companies worldwide, giving it deep insights into global startup trends and corporate–startup collaboration models.
In this session, participants will learn key strategies for how Japanese companies and international startups can work together effectively and achieve tangible results. The discussion will explore real-world examples of how to bridge the gap between the cautious, consensus-driven decision-making style typical of Japanese corporations and the fast-paced, agile mindset of startups.
The program provides a realistic understanding of the challenges Japanese companies often face when collaborating with global startups, along with practical tips for building productive relationships. It is particularly recommended for those involved in corporate innovation, CVC (corporate venture capital) activities, or divisions promoting partnerships with overseas startups.
