​​G-Fellows is excited to host Marc Silberman, Partner at Comcast Ventures

​Marc Silberman is a Partner at Comcast Ventures. Prior to CV, Marc led Corporate Development at FirstMark Capital, where he partnered with the firm's portfolio companies to drive top-line growth and accelerate go-to-market initiatives. He has nearly a decade of experience both operating and investing in high-growth technology businesses. On the operating side, Marc has held roles spanning growth strategy, operations, and finance at several New York-based technology companies, including CLEAR (NYSE: YOU), a biometric technology platform, and BuzzFeed (NASDAQ: BZFD), the global news and entertainment company. He was also previously a venture investor at Time Warner Investments, a media-focused corporate venture capital fund. Marc holds a Bachelor of Science from Cornell University with a double major in Applied Economics & Management and Communication. He currently serves on the Advisory Board of the Department of Communication at Cornell University and is a Board Trustee of the New Heights Academy Charter School.

​​​G-Fellows brings together an exclusive cohort of the most driven undergraduate students from top universities across the country for four weeks from April 10 to May 10. Each G-Fellow sources promising startups, tracks emerging industry trends, and nominates founders to pitch leading investors. G-Fellows are guided by tier-one VC and founder advisors, and get direct access to some of the hottest startups in Silicon Valley through hands-on workshops designed to help them land their dream internship and become truly industry-ready. This is real experience — the network, the reps, and the credibility to walk into any room in venture or tech and belong there. Grace Gong founded G-Fellows — part of Smart Venture Media — alongside Founding Fellow Siya Verma, who has been with the program from day one, to bridge the gap between the most talented students in the country and the venture world they're trying to break into

​Featured Fellows

​Isaac Gutierrez is a sophomore at UC Berkeley studying Business and Data Science. He’s interested in startups and VC, especially at the intersection of innovation, finance, and technology, and has gained early exposure through both startups and fundraising. He was the youngest hire at a relational database startup during its Series A and now runs growth at a fintech startup in San Francisco. He enjoys connecting with people and understanding what drives them. Outside of work, he’s into anime, working out, and mind-bending movies.

​​Kash Setty is a student at UIUC studying Computer Information Sciences and Statistics. His experience spans AI and data science research, consulting work, and a project with NASA focused on neuro-adaptive AR and VR research. Outside of tech, he’s involved in theatre as both an actor and director, and has earned several state and national qualifications in the field. He also spends time outside of class working on technology projects, developing business and product pitches around those ideas. He’s generally interested in the intersection of AI, product, and real-world impact, and likes working across both technical and creative spaces.

​Caroline Cho is a freshman at Stanford studying Human Biology on the pre-med track. She is currently researching chronic illness, with a focus on how AI can better capture and use human feedback, and is broadly interested in the biotech space—especially pharmaceutical startups, diagnostics, and AI-driven healthcare tools. She’s excited to learn more about VC and how these ideas get built and scaled. In her free time, she enjoys cafe-hopping, going to the gym, and appreciating art.
