Climate Talks: Community-Led Solutions

​Welcome to "Climate Talks" by Climate Circle Lisbon.

​Climate Talks are regular gatherings focused on sharing knowledge, exchanging perspectives and building connections across Lisbon's climate ecosystem.

​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​We will hear from two speakers, have a Q&A session, and close our event with a discussion circle and networking session. Join us for an evening of connection, inspiration, learning from peers and cross-sector exchange.

​​​​​Meet the speakers:

• ​​​​​Luís Costa, Operations Manager at ECOLISE. Luís has several years of experience as a consultant in impact management and strategic planning. He currently works for the European Network for Community-Led Initiatives on Climate Change and Sustainability (ECOLISE), an organisation that seeks to foster collaboration among community-led initiatives and their networks to catalyse change. With a Biomedical Engineering MSc from Instituto Superior Técnico, his path has led him from an analytical approach to a more human-centered one. He also teaches Nonviolent Communication workshops and courses in Portugal.

• ​​Sasi Kandasamy at URBEM. URBEM is an all-volunteer NGO in Lisbon dedicated to reforesting vacant areas to mitigate the effects of climate change and re-connect people to the earth and to each other.
